The 2023 UM summer seminar course will expand and build upon Adler’s original Individual Psychology theory introducing new techniques, intervention strategies and applications for the facilitating of psychosocial wellbeing, resilience, and mental health. The seminar will introduce participants to the growing body of research evidence supporting Adler’s Individual Psychology as well as the compatibility of many newer counseling models. Learn to critically examine Adler’s IP theory and creatively address areas needing further development for improving IP in diverse practice settings.
 
This course is appropriate for both those seeking an introduction to Adler’s Individual Psychology theory as well as those seeking to further expand upon their knowledge as to the continuing evolution & advancement of Adler’s Individual Psychology in counselling practice.
